Something my sister and I found the other day: our great grandfather’s wedding shirt from 1924/25! The flax was grown by his wife’s family, she spun it into thread, he weaved it into cloth and she sewed and embroidered the shirt. A beautiful collaboration to start their lives together. And… er… turns out it really fits me. Really well, especially around the shoulders. So… apparently I have the physique of a Polish/Ukranian peasant from a century ago… that’s good to know…
